Top 20 Time savers

To be organized it is so important to plan ahead. Make a schedule allowing for more time than you think is needed. It is better to have a few extra minutes than to run behind schedule.

Here are 20 Time Savers to help you get through the day, week or month!!! I have gotten some of these from a fellow blogger named Storm. I thought a lot of these were brilliant!!!

1. Use a monthly calendar and a daily 'to do' list.
2. Maintain a 'contact list.'
3. Prioritize your 'to do' list the night before.
4. Minimize your T.V. watching during the day. Or work on others things when you are watching a show.
5. Always put things away in their PROPER HOME!!!
6. Attend all the meetings available to you. Try other people's ideas. See someone successful? Do what they do. Don't reinvent the wheel!
7. Set aside unimportant things.
8. Use small segments of time productively.
9. Do two things at the same time. Listen to the news on the radio while getting dressed instead of reading the newspaper. (I use to talk on the phone, nurse my baby, and cook dinner all at the same time.) Okay I am a little crazy…OKAY EXTREAMLY CRAZZZY!!!!

On Friday I will share the last 10 Time Savers…

Maximize your Storage Space part #3

Now finally the last 2 tips…

Tip #5
- Find a home for all of your piles, and neatly place them in rows, for example, when you get a new tube of toothpaste, bottle of shampoo or soap you can put it behind so you are rotating. That way things won’t expire so fast.

Tip #6
-Label your shelves or bins with all of your items, so everyone in your household knows their proper HOME!!

Yea!!! Like I said we finished in 1 HOUR!!! We were both happy and satisfied with our work!!!

Homework: Organize 4 shelves in your house this weekend!! Have a great and organized weekend!!!

How to make getting ready in the morning EASIER??

Growing up with all sisters and sharing one bathroom was not always fun!!! However now I have three girls of my own, so I will try anything to make my mornings a little easier!!!

Here are a couple of tips to make GETTING READY a little easier!!!

***I try to have HOMES for most of my ESSENSIALS on my counter top, like lotion, cleanser, hairspray, spray bottle etc. That way I can just grab what I need and put it away fast!!!! (I found this handy little storage bin at World Market, I think it was a desk organizer…but works great for all my morning rituals!!!) AND LOOKS GOOD TOO!***

***I also have my curling irons and blow dryer hanging on my wall for easy access!!! I know it doesn’t look the greatest, but for me and my family it is a MUST!!! ( I found it at Sally’s.)***

EASY GRAB!! EASY PUT AWAY!! That is my motto to make things better, especially for 8 AM church!!!

Homework: CLEAN and ORGANIZE your bathroom countertop!!
Have a great and ORGANIZED weekend!!

Organizing GIRLS hair accessories!!!

Okay!! I grew up in a house hold of just one boy… (THIS WAS MY FATHER!!!!) I had only sisters. So you can understand that I grew up with a lot of DRAMA and a lot of hair accessories. Then I got older and only produced one BOY and three little girls, so you can see I am once again in a household with a lot of DRAMA and a lot of HAIR ACCESSORIES!!!!

BUT NOT TO FEAR you can defiantly organize your hair accessories!!! BUT GOOD LUCK ON THE DRAMA!!!!

FIRST you must separate all your flowers, bows, ribbons, barrettes, and ponytail holders.

THEN find HOMES for each of your accessories. (I found cheap plastic bins for my accessories.) OR at my FAMILYS store, which is called RIBBONS AND LACE, or the website which, I have posted on my blog called ribbonandflowers.com , you can purchase items to make cute HOMES for your flowers and barrettes.

Here are some pictures of storage or cute things you can do to store your HAIR ACCESSORIES!!!!

How to Organize your 3 month FOOD SUPPLY!!! Part three

WELCOME BACK here are the last 3 tips…

• Constantly replenish the stocks of these foods as they go on sale again.

• Don’t forget to include non-food items in this step as well. Get a 3 month supply of NECESSITIES such as medications, toilet paper, toiletries, CHOCOLATE CHIPS (I know this is food, but OH WELL very important!!) etc.

• Benefits include: saving money by buying foods on sale and having foods you normally eat in times of economic or any other type of hardship.

HOMEWORK: organize your pantry and go through all your foods and throw away anything expired, or you can give it to shelters. Have a great and ORGANIZED weekend!!!
